About the Institute

The Æther Institute does not claim to understand the unknown. It does not investigate, interrogate, or attempt to interfere. It remembers. It catalogues. It keeps.

For over a century—perhaps longer—the Institute has quietly archived reports, journals, field notes, and personal accounts documenting unexplained entities, phenomena, and occurrences. Most of these materials are recovered from forgotten boxes in abandoned libraries, half-burnt journals from condemned homes, or sealed vaults in places long since erased from maps.

Each entry housed here has been transcribed and preserved for the sake of continuity, caution, and curiosity.

The Institute does not endorse belief in any particular account, nor does it guarantee the authenticity of what is recorded. All documents are presented as they were found—untouched, uncorrected, and without commentary.
Mostly.

Where possible, context is added via Archivist’s Notes, though these too are subject to speculation and contradiction.
